    Best gel pens ever made

    These are the best gel pens I’ve ever purchased. They’re very opaque, almost like an acrylic paint, dry super fast and with a satin finish. I use them as a colorist and they work well over any medium I use and on any paper with no bleed through!

    Great for small coloring sections!

    Overall these are pretty good pens… they dry quickly and once dry the color is quite opaque, and the color variety is great. They dry with a visible texture though, and you can’t really manipulate the texture when coloring before it dries. It’s also quite hard to do larger coloring sections, you have to use really small movements to get the ink flowing well so it takes a long time to fill larger areas. But they are fantastic for smaller sections and they don’t bleed through paper. I’m wary of how long each pen will last because I used a noticeable amount of ink for one color on one color page. It seems like a good value because you get a lot of pens, but I’m not sure the value will hold up if a pen runs out after a few color pages. I do really like that they come well organized in a nice case, and it includes a color chart so you know where each color is!

    Nice pens, I like the color variety and coverage. The case is nice and easy to put together and take apart. However one of my pens came dried up and wouldn’t swatch after the first few strokes. Some caps are harder to take off than others.

    Ordered these to color Worlds of Wonder by Johanna Basford and they are absolutely perfect for the tiny details. They are very juicy and opaque. The colors are super vibrant too. I certainly recommend them for coloring books.
