   Inexpensive and does its job. Kids might spill the shavings though from opening the wrong end.

   Solid cheap pencil sharpeners that I bought for kids I’m teaching. Has 2 sizes and I like that it includes a wood shavings holder so that the kids don’t spill it everywhere.

   My only criticism is that the top and bottom openings look almost exactly the same so its a VERY common thing for kids to pop open the wrong end and a ton of wood shavings burst out and make a mess. Normally on pencil sharpeners, it has an uncapped open end where the pencil goes, but this type has a cap on both ends. So if kids aren’t looking (which they often aren’t) they will have a 50% chance of opening the wrong end and spilling everything. Unfortunately, this happens multiple times per a class and I have to have the vacuum ready permanently.

   Is it the kids fault? Yes, so that’s why I don’t want to blame the sharpeners that much. But you know that kids are challenged.

   Its become such an annoyance that I am considering buying different ones.

   Great for those of us who lose or misplace things . Great value .

   Very sharp very compact . Sharpens my pencils in my work shop with ease . I’m always misplacing my pencil sharpeners so this was a great solution at a great price . I put multiple ones in each tool box/bag . The blades are very shard so the metal must be of decent quality as I’ve yet to struggle to sharpen pencils . Easy to grip and use . Functions just as they should

   Included in a package of fun school supplies

   We included a pencil sharpener in colorful pencil pouches as school supplies for young African students. We also included colored pencils, erasers, and solar calculators. We gave them to a school in Africa for students and others whom we met for their grandchildren.

   My students received cheap ones from the school district and I replaced those halfway through the year with these which Iate much nicer
