I am extremely surprised at the quality of this paper. I want to give it 5 stars, but have not done a full size painting on it yet. Taped it into four quadrants and experimented.
It’s thick paper
Wet on wet did not buckle the paper too much.
Wet on dry did great.
Ink and wash did fine. Hot press is always better, but what the heck- I gave it a whirl.
A BIG plus is the tape came off super clean. No tearing at all.
Not sure what the sizing is, but it seemed a little uneven to me. I have used Arches for quite awhile as my good paper and have not experienced sizing issues. I plan on making my own travel journals and the back of the paper seemed to do well. Did only a small bit, so can’t say for sure yet.
Overall I think it’s a fantastic price for 30! 9 x 12 sheets of paper. I just ordered two more because buying excessive art supplies is a “hobby” of mine. 🙄 😊
